January 2016

The start of a new year for Strobel Guitars! We are looking forward to continuing to grow the business to provide our customers with the best travel guitars.  We provide the best value for the money with our Rambler Classic, and produce absolutely the finest travel guitars at any price with our Rambler Custom guitars and basses.  We have solidified the design and production of the Strobel Rambler Classic Professional Electric Travel Guitar.  Over the years we have produced nearly forty Custom Rambler Travel Guitars and several Custom Rambler Bass Guitars.  Delivering unsurpassed quality, tone and playability will continue to guide our efforts.  Total Customer Satisfaction is key to our success.

We have new models to introduce this year, and thought I would record how we develop them.  I will record the build process and will transcribe my Strobel Guitars Custom Shop notes each week to make them more accessible, and to have a more permanent record of the creation of our Custom Travel Guitars and Custom Travel Bass guitars.  We will publish these notes monthly on a separate web page (Travel Guitar Shop Notes), but only viewable to me (or our webmaster) via Word Press.  These are not for general publication on our normal BLOG page.  We will also continue to periodically publish a general public BLOG with pictures and features related to Strobel Travel Guitars.  It is intended that these monthly missives help our SEO ranking.

Two gigantic halls filled with guitars of all shapes and sizes!  Four more halls filled with drums, horns, pianos, etc. Go visit with the factory folks, visit with suppliers.  Show around Lil Red.  Check out the other Travel Guitars.  Validate that we make the Best Travel Guitar!  Look for new ideas to implement in Strobel Travel Guitars. Talk to WD about supplying parts for the STROBELCASTER portable guitar.

Painting some STROBELCASTER Portable Guitars.

(wk 4).  Been painting some STROBELCASTER Standard model Travel Guitar bodies and have three white and three black painted.  These bodies were made at Machine Technology machine shop in Coral Springs, FL using their CNC machine.  MT bodies to be used going forward in the SC Plus model, make from Popular. These will be finished in a solid color, with a limited set of options for customers to “personalize” their portable guitar.
